Your privacy with Qurby
Your page helps people reach you. This notice explains what enters the service and how to manage what you share.
Updated: 8 September 2026
Who operates Qurby?
Qurby is operated by Mina Abdelmassih under GMP Group branding. This notice covers qurby.net, existing qurby.cards links and the Qurby mobile app.
Account and sign-in information
The service stores your name, email, account information and permissions. Sign-in requires a password and, when enabled, a verification code. Passwords are stored as hashes. The app keeps its sign-in session in the device secure storage. Never send support your password or sign-in codes.
Content you provide
Page titles, descriptions, contact links, phone numbers or addresses you choose to include, and profile and cover images are sent to Qurby servers to save and update your page. A draft is not published. Published content may be viewed or shared by anyone with its link, and visible contact information may be saved. Only publish information you are authorized to share.
Camera, photos and NFC
The camera scans QR codes when you choose to use it. Selected QR images are decoded on the device; selected page images are uploaded when saved. NFC tools read card content and check a Qurby destination with the server before writing. The app does not request microphone, address-book or GPS access. Camera and photo permissions can be managed in device settings.
Links and sharing
Copying links and sharing QR codes happen at your request. Opening an external link, such as maps, WhatsApp or a payment service, takes you to a service with its own privacy policy. A payment link on a page does not mean the mobile app reads bank-card details. A saved QR copy has limited validity; opening the public page needs internet access.
Operation and service providers
Connection requests may be logged with technical information, such as IP address and request time, to operate and protect the service and investigate errors. Qurby uses hosting, account-message delivery and app-update distribution services. Expo Updates receives a random installation identifier, system and update information, and may receive a short startup crash report to deliver updates and restore app operation. Providers receive information needed to deliver those functions.
Orders and teams
When you use order and preparation services, order information, status, card assignment and preparation checks are stored to process the order. Team access depends on permissions. Deleting a member account does not authorize deletion of other team members’ or customers’ records.
Retention and deletion requests
In the app, go to Account, then Request account deletion, when available for your account. Identity confirmation is required. The current version records a request for review; recording it does not mean data has been erased. Request status appears in the app. Contact us if the option is unavailable or you need to know what remains stored. Certain order or payment records may require retention for obligations or others’ rights, depending on the record and reason.
Your choices
You can edit page information and published content, control the save-contact button and sign out. Signing out alone does not delete your account. Use the published support contact below to request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern.
